Ian Kelly, the actor who plays Hermione’s father in DH part one and two talks a bit about how it was working with Emma.

Judi: But it can’t be as much for you as it is for us because there are so many special effects. You don’t see what we see. You don’t play Quidditch.

Ian: Yes, it’s sadly true. I play Hermione’s dad and Emma Watson was very funny about how she’s grown up doing blue screen. She’s spent most of her acting career, actually, imagining who she’s acting with, or with no idea of quite what could be going on behind her. They’re a lovely gang. It was a very happy job.

Most alluring as… Oh, God, this is so wrong, but it has to be Hermione Granger. We’ll say in The Half-Blood Prince, just to be on the safe side. Ron Weasley is one lucky bugger.
Interests include… Being a genuine swot, with GCSEs and A Levels up the wazoo. She also passed her driving test at the first attempt.

I know, according to the papers “I was definitely attending both Columbia and Yale but I’ve finally arrived at Brown University and while i wish that i could be in three places at once i would’nt believe everything you read! I arrived on Tuesday and I’m having the most amazing time. I’m still so excited to be here. I’ve already met so many incredible people. I’m over my jet lag and now i just want classes to start!!

Emma and Rupert have both been nominated for Scream Awards this year as Best Actress in a Fantasy Movie or TV Show and Best Supporting Actor for their roles as Hermione & Ron in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is also nominated in a number of categories. Voting is open till October 17th 2009, when the ceremony will take place and it will premiere on Spike TV on October 27th.
